A new DisUnited state of India?? But why keep splitting states into smaller units, when they were created under an Act?

India wants to become a superpower..
The United states of America is made up of 50 states. And Everyone knows it is a "Super Power"
The United Kingdom is made up of 4 'countries'. An the Kingdom is powerful in its way. God Bless the Queen!
USSR was made up of 15 countries, before being dismantled. And by Jove, Was it a SuperPower.. Cue: Cold War.
The European Union has 28 member states., An Economic Super Power.
So maybe the GOI thinks having more states would automatically make us a super power too.I mean, look at it, there has been precedents.
Good thinking the GoI, what an easy way to become a Super power. Who cares about standard of living, economic prosperity etc. All humbug rite..
We now have 29 states and 7 Union Territories.
Maybe , just maybe , we might one day end up with more states than the United States itself...Not exactly an unachievable target right, given the current scenario.
Then we truly say, God bless India ..
